HOW TO AUTO-UPDATE TIME AND DATE ON WINDOWS PC

On this tutorial, am going to be explaining how to easily bring your windows time and date up to date.




STEP 1: lets take a look on the time displayed on windows startup;

 (The windows startup automatic time is displaying 12:04 AM and date as 1/1/2008).


STEP 2: So next, we click on the Time/Date as shown in the above windows Desktop Screen (Squared in Red). The below image shows what comes up next after Step-1;

STEP 3:


STEP 4: You have to change your Timezone according to your location.

I'm choosing West Africa as mine;



STEP 5: Switch to the "Internet Time" option.



STEP 6:Click on "Change settings".




STEP 7: Tick the "Synchronize with an Internet Server".




 STEP 8: From the Internet Time Server list, select "time.windows.com".



STEP 9: Click on "Update now".
 

STEP 10: And this is all. As you can see in the below photo, the time and date has been automatically brought to date.




FINAL STEP: After clicking on the "Ok" button on step 10, you will still have to click on the final/last "Ok" button to confirm all you have done.






PLEASE NOTE: To auto-update your windows time and date with this tutorial, you must have an internet connection.
